Hilarie has been praised for her portrayal of Sara Ellis in 2017's TV remake of the film franchise Lethal Weapon. Hilarie is also involved in a number of philanthropic organizations and is a supporter of causes such as the equal pay of females and males, as well as the fight against breast cancer.
